Christmas Ornament Exchange

Hello Ladies!

Some of the other boards have already started organizing there exchange. I know that we a MUCH smaller than the others, but I wanted to get some opinions on this years.

1. Do we still want to use elfster? Comments?

2. I was thinking we could move the deadline for shipping up to like the Second Week of December that way everyone has time to get them and enjoy them. Comments on this?

3. Any other suggestions?

4. Also did we want to use the Yahoo group to get a cummulative list of Addresses for XMas cards? I remember that last year there were TONS of posts for addresses for cards. Did we want to get them all in one place so that everyone that wanted to participate in this(and felt okay with it) could have the addresses. Any other ideas on how to do this? Recommendations?!?

This was a lot of fun this last year and I am open to doing it again. I trust all the ladies on this board so it doesn't matter to me where addresses get posted. I do like the idea of moving up the due date though, that way we can enjoy them longer.

If there's room for another, I'd love to join in this year. I don't have any info on the yahoo group, but wouldn't mind sharing my address, etc. with eveyone.

Elfster seemed really easy last year.  My only  hesitation about the yahoo group is that there a few new posters here.  If for some reason one isn't approved the group she wouldn't have access to addresses. It's probably time to do another addition to the yahoo group (although it is pretty inactive) but that might best be kept seperate from the holiday exchange.

i'd definitely be up for doing the ornament exchange again. i thought elfster was super easy to use, so i'd vote for doing that again. i'm cool with an earlier deadline.
