YOUTH VILLAGES
I'm considering applying for a position at this company. Has anyone worked for this company and what were the pros/cons. Also do you know what the starting salary for a masters levels counselor.

Know that this is kind of an old post, but I have several very good friends who work for Youth Villages in several different capacities. They all seem very happy there. Salary seems dependant upon experience and education. Not really sure what they start at...I know that this doesn't help you.
They seem to have a pretty good reputation when they've come up in conversation...but I've heard good things and bad things about a lot of the counseling services out there. Just remember that what you hear may apply to a specific department - Youth Villages does a lot of different things in this area.
