makes you begin to hate the company/brand that I once really liked!!
I love my VW jetta and have been trying to finalize my lease buyout (leasing was a dumb grad-school student decision... but on the upside my residual value is really low and I know I took good care of my car and want to continue to drive it and run into the ground on my 60mi daily commute) for over a month.
anyways, the leasing co (through VW credit) has given me nothing but problems. the sale needs to be complete by Monday and they are still dragging their feet. I just want to give the car back and never drive a VW again (even though I LOVE LOVE LOVE my car and my mom and sister both drive VWs too). Today one of their reps even said a possibly racist comment about me (I'm native american and qualify for tax exemptions and they keep treating me like I'm a lying cheat for trying to get the taxes removed... just to give you an idea I have the direct line for a tax specialist (that is on my side) from my state's dept. of revenue and we both have spoke to VW at least once a day for the past week).
I kind of just want to give the car back and buy something different. But I really can't get a better car for the amount I can buy this one that I know I like for... so I continue on with the battle...
Re: i hate it when horrible customer services...
Yeah, I often forget I drive that much everyday too! I never encounter traffic so it seems to go pretty quickly. I use to spend the time chatting with family and friends, but the handfree thing kind of put a damper on that. When it's nice out I take pretty country roads all the way in. I am a big fan of books on tape (checked out at the library).
Anyways, I know VW credit is the same as VW, but I still look at my car and get annoyed that it's causing me so much frustration. Eye on the prize: no car payments as soon as they give me a darn sales invoice (sans taxes) and I can send them the payoff
!!
sorry you are dealing with that.
on the flip, we have two vw's, that we LOVE! have had awesome service from them. hopefully, it turns around for you.
