Re: One more week!
Woo hoo! Have a safe trip!!
And totally off topic....
I also have to ask about your siggy with the rememberance to John. It says to click to learn more but doesn't work. I'm assuming he was yet another American hero gone too soon? I know that feeling first hand and just wanted to comment about how great it is you keep someone's memory alive.
Thanks
Yes, he was my best friends husband who was killed in Afghanistan at the end of August. He was an officer had deployed 6 weeks before, and their daughter was born 3 weeks after (so, she was 3 weeks old when he died). I set up a donation page for my friend and their 3 children, and had the link up for a while. But then, I figured it had all my personal information in it and I don't know who's lurking around the net. So, I deactivated the link but still kept the sig up, as I figured people could ask if they were curious.
She lives outside of Seattle, so I'm excited to be closer to her.

Aww that's great that you will be closer to your friend. And I actually think I remember hearing a news story about a soldier killed who had a newborn daughter (we cover all the northwest soldiers at the numerous bases in the NW). I'm sure your friend will be glad to have you close by.
My husband lost one of his best friends in May 2007 who was supposed to be a GM in our wedding. There's not a day that goes by that I don't think of him.
