Poll: Strange things

What are some strange things you have other people do for you?  The other people could be your husband, you mom/dad, your coworkers, etc.  Especially if it's something you COULD do but you don't do.

I ask because I just had my secretary put postage on my house payment.  BUT let me explain why:

We usually keep a good supply of "regular" stamps in addition to our office postage meter.  When I went to put a regular stamp on my payment, I discovered we were out.  Which let me with one option.  The dreaded postage meter.  I'm sure it's easy to use.  But there's a series of buttons you have to push in order for it to do the postage correctly.  And with my inability to use a fax machine without jamming it (not joking, it's embarrassing), I've never asked the girls to show me how to use the postage meter.  So I just had my secretary put postage on my house payment.

And of course they all laughed at me.  Except my personal secretary who said "Guys, you know what happens when she uses the fax machine..."

Re: Poll: Strange things

  • My husband usually chops the onions in our house.  I can do it.  Have and of course will in the future, but 9 times out of 10,... he chops it for me.  Gets to him as much as it would get to me, but he does it for me anyway. LOL

He also fills Xena's food dish every morning, and puts it on top of the stove.  So he picks it up downstairs (where it sits in her kennel all day and night), takes it upstairs in the morning, fills it and leaves it there for me to put in her kennel when I kennel her up in the morning.

  • My hubby takes care of feeding the dog in the morning and at night.  Does the laundry for me, and takes care of little stuff for me!
  • I like when DH pours my wine for me.
  • Blair's never really home to do anything strange for me.  I think I am just used to doing things for myself.  Plus, he would tell me "You have two legs, use them."
