Harvest decorating color scheme question
I am working on my harvest decorations and I've pretty much decided on two color schemes:
1. Eggplant and mustard yellow. Most of the furniture in our house is micro-suede and leather so I'm going to add some texture with cords and plush velvets. I also saw some gorgeous gold silk drapes with a subtle paisley design that would look great w/ the eggplant/mustard pillows.You know, very harvesty. (Heehee...is that a word?)
OR
2. Tan and Maroon. I found some gorgeous silk fabric in a bold floral that I think would look great over the pillows and add a touch of whimsy to the room. I was thinking this with a theme of "Dried Autumn Herbs" would be really cute.
Thoughts?

Tan and maroon go better into Thanksgiving, imo.
