Morning Wedding attire thoughts?

TGIF!

I'm going to a wedding tomorrow!  Woot!  I heart weddings!  Help me pick my clothing please!  Deets:

-at the farm at South Mountain--fall theme with brown and some other color.

-I'm video-taping the wedding as a gift for the happy couple (I have a nice camera, mic etc)

Thanks ladies!

Edit: I should have added an other/please explain option :)

Re: Morning Wedding attire thoughts?

  • Considering your commentary that went along with each kind of tore down each outfit...I can't pick any of them!

Are these the only options you have?

I was going to say go with the black dress.  But if it's really too tight and uncomfortable to move around in, that might not work out for videotaping everything.  The pants outfit sounds really casual.  Is the wedding going to be more on the casual side of things?  Can you dress up the pants with a different shirt that is a bid more wedding-ish?

  • Sister, I have a closet full of stuff that is too small.  It was not a happy evening at the imshell house!  I have a schmancy wedding to go to next week and I'm up a creek!  It's not super small and looks great (dh words) but I feel- as Kirstin would say-chubs in it (darn post wedding weight)
  • Gah I replied to this and the nest ate it :(

My vote is #1! But here are my questions. Are you doing this video as a one time thing for them or are you trying to break into the wedding video biz? If you are just going as a friend and doing this as your gift I would do #1

BUT if you are trying to break into the biz, then I would dress the part, a casual pant suit, or a cute pair of pants and a fancy lacy tank top or something?

  • Hmmm...well I've shot many a wedding video...not sure about breaking into the biz (it's a back burner idea currently), you make a good point though...Thanks!
