Hey, I'm Sarah. I got married this last Saturday the 10th at McMenimans in Hillsboro....PERFECT!!! My husband and I have been together for two years, and have actually lived together for most of it. I just finished my masters in teaching, and I am now looking for a job. DH works for Toyota, providing parts for the region of dealers. We have one Chihuahua mix named Chewy, and would like to start saving to buy a house soon.
I am 25, and my DH is 29. We love to watch movies, play board games, and basically are pretty laid back.
Looking forward to getting to know you guys!!!
Sarah

ahhhh hi!!!
1. i basically live in Tigard..i'm RIGHT on the edge of portland, basically in Tigard and...
2. where did you go for your masters in teaching? I'm in the process of applying to schools right now and am having a tough time deciding which school to go to!!!
Visit my blog about my family's experiments in eco-living
I also live in Tigard (by Tigard high school).
I got my masters at George Fox (the Portland campus, I think it is right by you, on 72nd near Costco).
I got my undergrad at PSU and thought I would do my masters there but I was really tired of the commute, the big huge campus, and being just a number. George Fox is a great community because you stay with the same students and teachers throughout the whole program, and they are a lot more involved and invested than the big city school. It is a private school, so of course it is more spendy, but all of your books are included in your tuition, the personalization and attention is great, and it is an extremely highly respected program. I suggest you talk to some of your mentor teachers (if you have any) and find out what they suggest. I had a lot of administrators and veteran teachers recommend GFU, and I am really glad I chose to go there
E-mail me at sarahjcrew at hotmail if you have any other questions

I should probably re-introduce myself too since the group has changed quite a bit since I was on last... I'm Julie, DH and I got married in March at Westminster Pres. in Portland. I finished my MAT program through the University of Puget Sound last summer and am currently a long-term sub for 2 half-day kindergarten classes in Battle Ground... it's nice to see so many new teachers!!! )
