I was checking out the reviews on BRU for the BundleMe and one review sticks out for me (see below). Does anyone know if this is true?
I bought this product thinking it would be PERFECT for my December/January Baby... However, when I had my carseat installed by the local RCMP (Carseat program offered free of charge), the officer explained to me that in the case of an accident, all insurance would be null and void if this was in the seat, SO, I didn't end up using it, just incase. I was very sad as this is a GORGEOUS cover and VERY soft inside.

Re: BundleMe
I just did some additional reading and you are right they are not recommended for use with a car seat. They recommend the kind that go over the carseat like a shower cap.
I just can't figure out how insurance would come into play. So insurance won't pay for a new car seat? Or are they talking additional health coverage not kicking in? Makes no sense to me.
they also have issues with infants in snowsuits (or bags {persay}) As they are unsafe if they are the littlest bit baggy on the child.
After my cousin was in an accident (minor fender vender) the cop told her that had she been in a major accident her child could have sufficated and would not have been covered by insurance had the the baby needed *additional helth care.
She was instructed to use blankets to cover over the baby once buckled in or a cover that went over the carseat!
