Hand lotion recs for really dry skin?

My hands are already starting to get dry and crack from all the hand-washing I have to do at my job and at home. During the winter, I usually put Eucerin and gloves on my hands at night, but I'd like to find a good daytime lotion too that can help to avoid some of the cracking & bleeding. What works for you?

  • I think Burt's Bees works pretty well. DH gets horribly cracked skin and he uses the hand salve. He's also used the foot creme and lip balm with good results.

ETA: We've also used the Bath and Body Works spa line "Lay it on Thick" body cream with shea butter. It works well AND smells very good.

  • I love this stuff called Miracle Hand Repair from Bed Bath and Beyond, and they have one for feet that rocks too!! And bath and body spa line i agree with is great...for day, Look Ma New Hands!! And the more emollient one for night with the shea butter.  I would also say at night with your gloves to try Vaseline and really lather it on thick.  It really does wonders for me.  I bartend and in the winter it is so painful.  Hope these recs help!!
