Moving to Central WI
Hi! I thought I would introduce myself. My DH got a promotion and we are moving to Wisconsin Rapids. It seems like most people on the board are in Madison or MKE area. Anyone in Central WI? My DD is almost one and I am going to be a FT SAHM. Moving to WR is going to be a big shock to my system b/c we have lived in Vegas for 4 years. If anyone lives around my area, let me know. I would love to meet up!

Vegas to Wisconsin Rapids will certainly be an interesting transition. I am from Milwaukee so I can't help you with Central Wisconsin, but you should be fine. I lived in Wausau for a year right after school and enjoyed it a lot.

Wow! Moving from Vegas to Wisconsin Rapids is a change. I grew most of my life there but now live in Chicago. I do go back home occasionally. When are you moving to WR? I still keep in touch with a few of my high school friends. Email me and maybe we can meet a weekend I am home.
