Help! Need good MD rec in Fort Wayne
I am new to the Fort Wayne area and am looking for a good family doctor and dentist. Can anyone recommend? Thanks in advance for any help!

Welcome to Fort Wayne! We moved here a year ago and love it!! We love our dentist--there are several in our the practice, but we see Dr. Greg.

As for a family doctor, my husband has gotten several suggestions from people he works with---but I don't remember any of them now :-) I will have him ask again and post them. I can strongly recomend my OB. I see Dr. Schwartz at http://www.heradvantage.com/. they have offices all over the city, and I have been really happy with the practice.

I have lived in Fort Wayne for my entire life until April, then moved to Fishers, so I continue to see the same people when I'm in town.
My doctors are scattered all over town, but they all are great. Hope this helps!
For the past 23 years I have seen Dr. Richard Tielker at First Care Family Physicians at Hobson Rd. He is a great guy and very personable. Even the other doctors in the group are great. I have also seen Dr. Akey and Dr. Brandenberger (sp?) from that same group.
For a family dentist, I see Dr. Matthew Creech at Fort Wayne Dental. He is very nice and helpful. There is also another one or two dentists at that group. They are located at Engle Rd.
For an ob/gyn, I see Dr. Amy Thomas, she is with Women's Health Advantage. They are located off of Jefferson Blvd. and at Dupont. She seems like a younger doctor, but is very knowledgable and always makes me feel at ease with my yearly visit.
