Happy Monday!
I didn't do much this weekend but relax, meet with the life insurance nurse and have my BFF and ILs come over for a visit.
Today I have an appointment with the urologist (scared!) to see if I need surgery, and then Wednesday I have another doctor's appointment. Otherwise, I'll be hanging out at home, putting a dent into the LOST series on Netflix.
After 2 rounds of IVF & 2 rounds of FET, we were blessed with identical twin girls!
Weekend was good
Fri: cleaned, relaxed, watched The Proposal.
Sat: manicure, eyebrows done, ran errands
Sun: Grocery shopping, Target, DH finally came home so I cooked us dinner and we watched The Proposal since he hadn't seen it.
This week is some shopping, maybe a massage or spa facial...not sure yet!
I had a really fun weekend!
Fri: Went out with H's friends to watch the Angels game
Sat: Proctored test at school, went to LA with LYB for Brand New show. SO much fun!
Sun: Book talk with lovely ladies, then ended up at a pro wrestling show w/ MH.
This week is busy...RENT at OCPAC and Lakers game at Honda center. Wheee!
Fri: HS football game
Sat: playdate with old nesties and their kids
Sun: cleaned house, shopping for bday party
This week I have a ton of work, then my daughter's birthday party on Sunday! Hopefully the week will fly by. I'm ready to get this party over with.

It was a nice weekend. :-)
Friday & Saturday: Mostly just chilled at home. Put a significant dent into our DVR backlog.
Sunday: Shared some good talk and laughs with awesome ladies. Went to Ikea for the first time to run a quick errand for my parents and realized that there is nothing quick about a trip to Ikea. I actually got lost at one point.
But I did find the perfect reading chair and got a lot of ideas for my living room re-do.
fri: dinner, passed out
sat: ran a bunch of errands, watched football, chilled
sun: yard work, grocery store, cleaned house
this week: my friend is in town so I'm going to meet up with her later for dinner. the rest of the week is clear as of today!
after this weekend, i am excited for a quiet week with few plans. the reunion extravaganza was a complete success, and i'm still tired. but the months of planning and last-minute stress were all worth it
friday - alumni-only cocktail hour. the best icebreaker ever, leaving us all as comfortable with each other as we'd been 20 years ago.
saturday - reunion bash. worked all night, ate yummy food, laughed with old friends. good times.
sunday - family picnic. decent turnout, since most folks were nursing hangovers.
the teen is home this week, and the only thing i have planned is a junior league meeting thursday. next weekend was to be vegas, but i'm so glad it was cancelled, for many reasons.
I had a busy, but very fun weekend!
Fri: Gym in the morning, cooking, cleaning and making a ton of chocolate caramel apples.
Sat: UCLA game (seriously, it was the face of the sun in the stadium) then chilling at home in the evening
Sun: Met up with some cool chicks to talk books and then relaxed at night.
I'm so very sad it's already Monday again.
Good morning! As has been the theme of all October weekends this weekend was birthday extravaganza- for me and for other friends. Had a great time.
Friday night is fuzzy. I know we did something but I can't remeber what :-/ Boo.
Sat: I went wine tasting with friends is Temecula. Had a fantastic time. A trip that I originally thought would be just H and I turned out to be a bigger suprise for me and 2 other couple friends joined us. It was lots of fun. We laughed and laughed and laughed and oh yea, got tossed over lots of wine.
After that we did a dinner for my friend's birthday at Dave and Busters followed by hooka at Hidden Cafe. Got home around 3 I think. Fun fun times all around.
Sun: Woke up, met up with some ladies over books and laughed and laughed again. When it was over I hurried up and dolled up for my other girlfriend's birthday dinner at Bucca. Om Nom Nom chain restaurant nom. I thouroughly enjoyed my meal and of course the company.
By the time it was over I was beat- got home and went straight to bed at 9 like a granny. lol. Good weekend overall.. and the October madness isn't over yet.

sunday: farmers market in LB (thanks ssinca!) came home and cooked butternut squash soup and made pesto. yum! Caught the Chicago game with friends.
this week: a friend is coming into town from TX - looking forward to catching up.

Sat: Checked out kennels for the puppy, went to Maggianos for dinner, and watched Sunshine Cleaning
Sun: Did some chores around the house then went to Jewelyn's memorial service which couldnt have been better suited for her

Weekend was full of school, sloth, more school, followed by a delightful afternoon of ladies and book chat, then more sloth and a chocolate caramel apple that somehow ended up in my tummy instead of my dd's.
Oh, I've been looking for one for our livingroom forever. I'm glad you found one.
Friday: Nothing? I don't remember.
Saturday: Did some household chores instead of going to yet another baby birthday party. Yes, I chose cleaning toilets over babies.
Sunday: Brunch with dad and brother.
Ugh, it's Monday.
This weekend was a whirlwind. Started Friday off by cleaning the crap out of my house. I don't know where I got the crack-like energy but I was a machine.
Saturday we picked up my late Nana's furniture from parents. In the afternoon we went to a kickazz co-ed shower for some fun friends. Laughed so hard I pulled a muscle in my tummy.
Sunday I got a bug up my arse and went shopping for cool Halloween Decor. Found some killer deals and I love the mod-bling-horror look in the house.
ETA: I also Registered Sunday for my shower. Holy cow. Overwhelmed is an understatement. BFF helped me so THANK GOD for her. I would have never registered for a booger sucker. That's just not right.
Weekend consisted of working out, going to my cw'ers art show, a mini trip to NY, and book club.

This week will be the same as always. Lots of work, no mojo to do it.
Sunday- met up with some cool ladies to discuss books, but I got there late and missed the book part, lol. It was still nice to hang out and hear some fun stories. Went out to sushi afterwards with my family.
Today- had a terrible night?s sleep yesterday and woke up several times. I rarely have sleep issues, so that really sucked and now I am dragging. Will need more coffee soon?
Saturday: Gym, errands, watched Year One on DVD. Decent movie, good enough for a rental.
Sunday: Book whore gathering, dinner, Dexter and Curb.
This week: worky work, and preparing for my parents coming into town.
Friday: Had Harbor House for dinner with H. I love having breakfast for dinner.
Saturday: My Aunt called me up last minute to go see Monty Python's Spamalot at the OC Performing Arts Center. That was awesome, especially since it wound up being free for me.
Sunday: Laundry and dinner with H's family.
This week: Don't know. Going to try and see Paranormal Activity since I didn't get to see it on Saturday.
DH and I spent the weekend in Yosemite. Went on a butt kicking hike and did some fishing/sightseeing. Picked up pizza from our favorite place, ate in the hotel, and watched the Angels totally blow it. I hope they can turn it around this week.
This week: Playing week 2 of my volleyball league (so excited) and seeing two of my aunts who are here from Utah (sure would be nice if they would call and let me know exactly what day this will be).

Friday had friends over and danced the night away
Saturday and Sunday (and today) stayed in bed the majority of the time. I've had a stuffy cough the last two weeks or so and this weekend it became a full blown illness. Gross.
This week I am looking forward to hopefully kicking the cough, Brea Improv tomorrow night, and finally deciding on a costume for the first of many Halloween parties this weekend!
