talk about a buzz kill...
Just got a call from the Birth Center that while everything looks perfect with our little girl, my amniotic fluid is low. So I have to go in for another ultrasound with the perinatologist to see if it was a fluke thing or something we need to worry about (waiting for a call back to make the appointment). I'm trying to be relaxed about this and just assume that it is nothing until we hear otherwise, but I would be lying if I said I wasn't scared. Can I seriously just not have a normal pregnancy?!

Maybe I don't have a heightened sense of smell, but I've never smelled any vagina on my pants. -- TSD

I hope its nothing major!
If it makes you feel better, one of our friends was checked in overnight twice for low fluid, and delivered a healthy 7.5 lb baby at 39 weeks without bedrest!
oh no, sending good thoughts. Sorry to hear this hopefully you just need to get some fluids.
Hugs
Hopefully it was just a fluke in the measurement. Good luck with the follow up.

Prayerfully all is well! PLEASE keep us posted.
Sending POSITIVE THOUGHTS!
Thanks ladies.
My appointment is for tomorrow just before lunch. I should be able to post in the afternoon and let you know what is up.

I'm sorry you're dealing with this but I'm glad your appointment is soon!
Try to stay well hydrated (that impacts your AFI level) before your scan and for the rest of your pregnancy!
This is what my midwife told me too. I've been drinking so much water that my eyeballs are floating, and I've already peed 6x while at work today. I think I'm more hydrated then I've ever been in my life. Hopefully it will pay off!
