How was your weekend?
Mine was really great. On Friday I saw "Couples Retreat" with a group of friends. On Saturday I got to go see our new house with my parents (Jaye came too!). Unfortunately our closing was postponed on Friday, so we have an appointment to close tonight! I'm really hoping it all goes well!
Sunday was our first anniversary!! We had my family over in the morning since my parents were in town. We ate the cake - and it was so good! I mean, it wasn't as good as it was on the big day, but I had a whole slice! I think the layer of buttercream icing must have kept the moisture in. MH and I had a couples massage, then we went to Donovan's steakhouse for dinner. It was so great! I had an amazing time!

Our weekend was good. It's rather similar to yours
Couples Retreat Friday. Saturday I spent a good amount of time reading Outlander. Went to see Julie's new home (SO cute!). Had my brother over for the evening, and ate breakfast for dinner (my go to meal).
Sunday I read some more. Went up to my Mum's and had a family BBQ.
It was a great weekend, but as usual, too short. I woke up this morning wishing it was Saturday. Oh life.
Yes, life seems to go so much faster since I got married! On Saturday I had to take my car in to get serviced. Then DH and I went to look at different furniture stores for a console table. We ate dinner at Chick-fil-A and went home and did some tidying up because...
Our new couch was set to be delivered yesterday morning. It came around 9 or so. Then we went grocery shopping and my family came over for a bbq lunch. It was very nice and relaxing. But like Jaye said, too short!
Good morning... err, i mean afternoon,
i got a little more sleep last night so i feel a lot better today (the night before i maaaaybe 2 hours.)
today, i have more to do than you can imagine. i have some editing to do. i got to meet Shannon (b15chik) yesterday and take pictures of little D. He was SOOO cute!!!!!!!!!!! ?i'm hoping to have all their pictures done by the end of the week so as not to fall behind in editing. i HATE when that happens.
i also have a lot of "conference" work to do... omg, i need an assistant!!!!!!!!!!!! ?
Happy Monday Afternoon! We had a really busy weekend! Saturday was a morning wedding--it was lovely but REALLY hot. I was exhausted by the end. The couple was sooo adorable though. Then we went to the African Festival at ASUWest--it was very cool.
Sunday was church, a trip to ikea, dinner at my folks and youth group at church. Teenagers have such an interesting perspective on things. I love it because it's a good time to spend time with ds without any little people. Today I am editing a video I shot for someone else and doing piles of laundry. I really need a cleaning fairy-the dirt trolls just won't stay away.
