Question of the day!!
What's your favorite holiday? Why?
Re: Bringing it back!!!
My favorite holiday is Halloween closely followed with Christmas.
I love Halloween bc it is such a fun holiday. I love dressing up and going out. Plus, it's DH's favorite holiday and when he's in an exceptionally good mood, the day is even better.
Christmas I also love bc I love getting to see our family and friends and to celebrate together. Now, it's a little more stressful though with the distance to get to our hometown and both families to see. So it's been knocked down to number 2.

So excited to meet Amelia Catherine!
YAY for bringing it back!
Christmas is my favorite holiday. Like SCTiger, it's a spiritually significant holiday (though possibly not as significant in my faith as Easter) but I also love the aspects of food, family, and DECORATING. I LOVE to decorate for Christmas!!!
I also love buying gifts and wrapping them. I'm also a freak and enjoy the hussle and bustle of christmas shoppers in the malls right before the holiday.
I oddly enjoy this too. The only shopping that even bothers me is Black Friday. That is just massive crowds of stupid. And I still go shopping and I still love it!
Halloween b/c it's what my Mom used to call "the last real kids' holiday"-not as commercial or overblown retail-wise (in general) as Christmas and all the sales and stores and such. It's just meant to be a good time for kids of all ages!!
4th of July just because it's one of the few times you're almost expected to grill out and hang out with friends=and considering it's smack in the middle of summer...what could be better than that!!
My favorite holiday is THANKSGIVING! I love spending time with family and enjoying all the delicious food. Usually it's starting to get chilly outside but isn't freezing... for Charleston.
I am especially excited about this year, because my husband and I are in charge of the menu.
Christmas here too!
I too love the decorating. I also love the cookies and the fact that there's a month of build up before the actual day. So much fun!
