Baby shower for mom AND dad
So my sister-in-law is pregnant
I'm going to be an aunt, so excited! I'm also excited to get to throw the baby shower. I want to throw a co-ed shower. I think my brother and his friends are more excited about the baby then my the mom to be and her friends. Anyone have good ideas on throwing a co-ed baby shower? I'm not talking a bunch of couples. Most of their friends are single and between the ages of 18-25, with a few older family members thrown in there.
Game ideas? Theme ideas? Food ideas? When should I throw the shower? TIA!

Re: Baby shower for mom AND dad
I'm hosting a similar shower.
The anouncement says "baby celebration"
We are having a party, no shower games. We haven't decided on a menu, but probably soup and sandwhiches, chips and dip.
No games...Thinking party like a cookout.
Hi:
I'm hosting one of these with a friend for a co-worker (Dad) who's wife is expecting their first. We are having it on Friday evening starting at 5 PM for cocktails, apps and then dinner. We are doing an Italian theme with a couple of different pastas and sauces (pasta bar) , salad, dessert. I'm not a big game fan, but the other host likes them, so we are going to have one game ( the dirty diaper game). Our co-workers are a mix of families and singletons, so we invited kids as well.
