This is the chair I like. There's an optional ottoman. It works particularly well for a shorty like me because my bare feet can touch the floor. The only slight drawback is that it's a little on the narrow side so I can't curl up in it. I think the dog will also be upset that there isn't room for him in it.

If get it, I'm planning to get a light beige cover for it. I would love a bordeaux one, but I think the furbrat's stray hairs will be constantly visible.
I also just saw that they have a slightly larger version online; I don't think they had a display edition out but I might have to make a trip back to check.
That front corner definitely needs a chair! It gets such great light for reading during the day.
