I need a good Christmas card idea this year. Every year, my cousin who is 1 year older than me outdoes my card.
DH had a great idea for next year. Next year we're taking our little red toddler sleigh (My Mom's when she was a baby, then mine and sisters, next my baby's), and dressing the baby as Santa/Mrs.Clause depending on girl vs boy. The baby will sit in the sleigh, and Harley will have antlers on and sit in front. This will all be in front of the tree. We thought it would be cute. However, baby doesn't arrive until May, so I still need a great idea for this year.
Any thoughts?

I LOVE this idea:

Good luck getting that picture next year. Our card last year ended up being a how-to letter on "How to Take the Best Christmas Card Photo" because I couldn't get my daughter and our three dogs to cooperate for one single photo. All I wanted was for her to hold a book and sit in her chair and for the dogs to lie down in front of her so it looked like they were listening to her read.
40 pictures later and I decided it was a failure and instead wrote a funny letter about it.
Last year I dressed my calico persian in a mini santa suit and took her picture she had this seriously angry face on, it was beyond hilarious.
Usually every year I take my two siberian huskies up to the mountain and take thier picture in the snow, but we had a horrible snow storm last year and couldnt get up there.
This is a really unique idea. You could use some old Christmas pictures pictures of your family. Do them in black and white, and make the backround of the card red so they will stand out. If they decide to make ornaments out of them, they could use a pretty red ribbon to hang them on the tree with...
