Las Vegas question (shows and/or food)
I have a friend that will be in Vegas briefly this week and has time for a show and wants to know if there are any *must* sees, or if it's better to just spend the evening eating somewhere fabulous. And if so, what is that fabulous eating place.
She doesn't seem to want my input on eateries.
And this is really for a friend. Who has short blond hair and a sick obsession for expensive shoes and handbags. And who has two super cute black dogs.
Re: Las Vegas question (shows and/or food)
L'Atelier de Joel Robuchon.
This restaurant is better than any show in Vegas.
I would highly recommend both "O" at the Bellagio and "Love" at the Mirage (cirque de soleils.)
We've also seen Carrot Top (don't hate) and he was surprisingly funny.
The VooDoo Lounge is at restaurant at the top of the Rio. We've eaten there a few times at sunset and it looks right over the strip. Great food, too.
I like Studio 54 at MGM Grand if she'd like to go to a nightclub.
If she's into buffets, I LOVE LOVE LOVE Spice Market at Planet Hollywood.
Shows: Love or "O"
Food: Carnevino or weemo's suggestion
Club: Pure at Cesear's or Lavo at Palazzo
Peepshow and Love do not play on Wednesdays apparently, so those are out.
