Looking for someplace around WI to vacation
My Husband and I are trying to plan a long weekend vacation somewhere around Wisconsin. We don't want to spend too much $$ or go too far. We live in Milwaukee and only place I can think of is the dells (which we have done a lot) or door county (which we prefer in the summer)
Any one have any other ideas of places to go? Or even things to do?

You could make a vacation out of just about anywhere. Here are some of the places (in addition to the Dells and Door County) that I might choose:
Lake Geneva
Madison (stay downtown and enjoy yourselves)
Ashland/Bayfield
Minocqua
Eagle River
Spring Green (American Player's Theater, Taliesen, etc.)
Kohler
Green Bay
It all depends what you want to do ...
You could go to The House on the Rock in Spring Green too
