Beau-tea-full moments tea room

hey nesties

I am thinking of having my bridal shower here and I was wondering if any of you have been or had your shower here and could tell me your experience. Any other sugestions would be great for the charleston area. Thanks

Re: Beau-tea-full moments tea room

  • Sorry I have no experience there, but usually doesn't whomever is hosting the shower get to pick the location?

  • Well My friend wanted my imput on the tea room and I hadn't been there so I thought I would ask here

  • Ah got cha.  I've not been myself but I kno people who have had children's birthday parties there... I think the childrens room is separate though, but my biggest concern would be booking it at the same time as a kids party so she may want to ask about that.

  • I just found out that its $200 dollers JUST TO RENT IT and I don't really want her to pay that and plus everybodys food...

  • I didn't have my shower there, but I had my bridesmaid luncheon there.  They loved it.  We didn't have to rent it out or anything.   There were 14 of us (including MOB, MOG, grandmother of groom, flower girl, her grandmother, etc.)

I love the place; I go there frequently with my mom when I'm in town.  Maybe you could have a smaller gathering there, like a bridesmaid luncheon or something, if you're worried about the $200 fee.  They cater, too.  The food is very good.  It's one of the cutest places I've ever seen, too.  I'd love to own it!
