great place for dinner!!! yum

We went to East of Suez on Route 28 in Wolfeboro last night.  It's a great llittle restaurant that is BYOB (they do not have a liquor license).  They are only open in the summer months and plan take cash as they do not accept credit card.  Also I would make reservations.  It's a great mix of Asian food.  My dinner last night was from the Philippines.  They also do Japanese, Korean, Thai and Vietnamese dishes.

Re: great place for dinner!!! yum

  • I've heard AMAZING things about that place from numerous people, and can't wait to go myself!!
  • It is very good.

We had a mix up with an order there once, but it was worth the wait for them to get it right.

    Yum-o!

  • it sounds great, but WTF where is wolfeboro? (sorry, I'm a MA transplant. If it's north of Manch, I don't know it. :)
  • Mmmm.  Yeah, East of Suez is awesome.  DH and I went there for an anniversary when we were still dating.  So yummy.

Heather,  Wolfeboro is up in the lakes region, on Winnepesakee.  Probably about an hour and a half from Nashua.

  • WTF, stupid nest. I just wanted to add that Wolfeboro is totally worth the drive. If you ever check it out (and you should) you need to go to "details". Cutest, girliest, trendiest shop with the NEATEST purses and stationary! www.detailsgiftsonline.com is their website.
  • I lived in Wolfeboro and I can't place that shop.  Is it new?

  • Sure is, maybe about 6 months ago?  It's in the same building as the hippy dippy music store. I think I love and want to buy every single thing in that store!
  • Details is right next to Stay Tuned... where Sky's the Limit used to be. I haven't been in there but I hear it is pretty cute, there is also a new crafty store called Ribbons?? I think.... that is also supre cute! I grew up in Wolfeboro, and I'm up there all the time-- let me know if anyone needs any other recs!
