Need help with my Trunk or Treat idea...
We are going to do an ASU themed tailgate "party". I have a house flag and banner that I will use and also a rally monkey and the football helmet dip server. I want to do a small table of tailgate food that DH and I can eat for dinner during the event so I was thinking a sub sandwhich, some pasta salad and maybe a 7 layer dip & some vegis. I want to do a cute football/fall themed centerpiece for the table using the helmet...any ideas? I have a few of my own but am hoping someone super creative can add to it. I have fake pumpkins and gordes and things and was going to maybe go get some fall garland and carve ASU into a pumpkin and include that...thoughts?
Im thinking of decorating the back of our SUV like a football field maybe with poster board do do the field and then foam core for the goal posts? Any other thoughts? I want to do something inside since most of the decorations will be on the table and hanging off the car (flags/banners)...
We of course will be decked out in our ASU gear. I am going to search on line for a way to record a game through my computer or TV onto DVD to play on our portable DVD player so any techies that can assist?

Dang, your Truck or Treats are serious! In college we could deck out the back of someone's car with crepe paper and some paper decorations. Major klass.
I think your idea sounds great. Maybe turn your ASU helmet into a jack o' lantern by putting a candle or light inside and cover the front of it with an eye mask or something, or put a plastic skull inside the helmet to play up the Halloween theme?
Snickers makes an awesome ice cream cake that is shaped like a football. A friend of mine had one at her party a couple of weeks ago. I think WalMart carries them, but I'm not sure.
