ATL Nestie needs help
DH, my parents, & I are planning a visit to San Antonio during Thanksgiving. We will be flying, will have a rental car, and love to stay busy when we travel. We are staying on the Riverwalk and plan to get tickets to the Holiday Light Parade thing. Does anyone recommend what price range of tickets to get? Are the $25 ones worth it?
What else do we need to plan on doing while we are there? Of course we will visit the Alamo & the Riverwalk area, but what are things should we plan on doing. We will arrive late Tuesday and leave on Sunday, so we will have several days. TIA!!!

I've never been to the river parade so I'm not much help. Some of the restaurants will also sell their outside tables so you could have a nice meal and see the parade at the same time. You would just have to contact the restaurant for pricing. How many days are you going to be here? It may be worth it to drive out to Fredericksburg to go to some of the wineries.
ETA - I just reread your original post. You would have time to go to Fredericksburg one of the days if you wanted to. If you guys like antiques it's great for that as well or just go to the wineries. The stores close around 5 though.
