Hey Ladies, with Christmas and my birthday coming up I am looking to get a new digital camera, I just don't know what kind to get. I am looking for something that will still fit in my purse but with great quaity and maybe even some special features like black and white photos that pick out one color or ways to change the focus. Any ideas for something that will take great quality photos without breaking the bank?
Re: Digital Camera Help
I second the Ken Rockwell recommendations. Based on what I read on his site and a few others we ended up getting the Canon PowerShot SD960IS to take with us on our HM to Greece.
I have always been partial to Canon's, but this one is really fantastic.
If you're looking for a DSLR, I also have a few coworkers that have picked up the Nikon D40 and love it.
We'll just not tell H about this little fact, m'kay?
The G10 does too - you can choose B&W, Sepia tones, green, blue, yellow, and red color isolation, too.
Our Canon G9 has been amazing over the last two years. I love it! I would imagine its newer sibling the G10 is even awesomer. And it can def do a ton of color accents.
