XP: ***HELP! Our new rescue is showing sudden aggression***

Hi, We picked up our new dog today. He's a rescue brought up from MS to VT. We brought him home and he's has been doing great. My husband and I left for about an hour...when we came back the new dog started growling at my husband and tried to bite him once. The new dog is still real sweet with me but is growling at my husband when he walks by...Any advice..please! TIA!

Re: XP: ***HELP! Our new rescue is showing sudden aggression***

  • try having your husband feed him by hand - take him for walks, everything the dog needs, needs to come from your husband.

YH might have some new smell on him that the dog doesnt trust.  see if he acts the same way after a change of clothes and a shower.

good luck! you might have a tough transition but it will be so worth it =)
