Greasing the Philly lightpoles
I was listening to Preston and Steve this morning, and they were talking about the precautions that the Philly police are taking in preparation for the Phillies (hopefully) victory tonight.
They're greasing the lightpoles up and down Broad St. - how funny!!!!! They're also replacing the solar trashcans with the old ones so that they can be bolted to the pavement. They're also encouraging business owners to remove anything outside their stores that could possibly be thrown or picked up.
Seriously, Philly, have some self-control! Ha....
Re: Greasing the Philly lightpoles
I think that is a great idea and while they are at it they should put a freash coat of neon green paint on them so you could tell who was climbing them. It's also really sad that people can't control themselves. The way people acted last year was not "celebrating" it was being a d-bag. I think last year's events says a lot about the people of philly/philly fans.
Hahahaha that would be awesome!
Philly fans just get over excited bc they don't win major things that often. hehe...I kid, I kid.
Go Yankees!!!
Love this.
2012 Reading Challenge
That's too funny.....I would tell the news people to stay far away too...last year they were flipping the NBC 10 news van and a bunch of other things. That's why I keep myself at home
We did the parade last year and it wasn't bad at all, the crowd was huge but we didn't see any problems
I would love to see footage of someone trying to climb the greased poles
haha Krista! Very funny and very true.
I am a Boston fan personally and even they acted like d-bags. Big tragedy=death. I thought there wouldn't be so much fanfare and tragedy because Boston has had a reputation of being a title whore....but alas, douchebags live everywhere.
