Kinda bummed...
So..... Since my wedding I have had so much free time & I have no idea what to do with myself! I never thought of myself as one of those brides that liked planning (my ADD won't allow me to focus on little details) but now that's its over I miss it! And DH is totally preoccupied with the Yankees & the playoffs (Red Sox fan here!) which is fine but I've got a lot of free time now. Just thought I'd get my bummed out feelings out there!

I hear that was me too, and I still am!!!!!!! I miss wedding planning and being a bride. Im totally going through withdrawl BIGTIME.
But what I have been doing is trying to get back to doing things I enjoy well before I was engaged and planning the wedding. Hanging out with girlfriends, doing craft stuff, trying to read more etc.
Oh! And im planning Kendra's Baby shower...so that is keeping me busy too..and im having a BLAST !!
I miss planning, but I can always find something else to do. Playoffs help but that's only going to be a little while longer.

I don't miss wedding planning at all! After the wedding I used to think about how if I had done certain things differently our wedding may have turned out even better and did the "what ifs", but I'm long past that now. We are still annoyed with our DJ, though, and it's been over a year since the wedding!
Now, I'm obsessing over baby planning and there's just as many choices to decide about.
I feel the same way. I do think about things I would have done differently - but that's about it. Baby world has now taken over my world.
It's nice to see some familiar faces over here! Maybe this board will pick up now!
I go back and forth with the wedding being over. 90% of me is happy. We paid for it ourselves which was INSANE. I feel like I have my life back now.
There is the other 10% though - which totally misses the dress
and the excitement of being all dressed up, and looking forward to everything -e tc. ANd I hate that as the days go by - the whole thing becomes more of a blur! And I can't stop looking at my pics! It's awful!
I'm with Mandy though - I"ve been trying to focus on getting back into things I liked before. Reading, Cooking (found some GREAT new recipes on blogs) and working out!
Hopefully we can start a house hunt sooner, rather than later - which would make me VERY happy!
