My baby shower was yesterday :-)
My mother and MIL put together a really nice co-ed bbq style shower (party) for DH and I. It was wonderful, we got plenty of wonderful baby items, and it was so much fun to hang out with all of our family and friends.
I need to show this off - this is our cake!

The "tile floor" and faucet and everything was edible! It was amazing and I really didn't want to cut into it. Thankfully it tasted as delicious as it looks :-)
Re: My baby shower was yesterday :-)
Yay! Sounds like a lot of fun! OMG, that cake is AMAZING! Where did they get it? That is seriously gorgeous.
Hope you got lots of great loot!
The cake is so cool!
Glad you had a great time!
I'm glad you had such a great time! Please tell us who made that cake, I think it's the cutest baby shower cake i've ever seen!
Thanks for all the kind words ladies! We really did have a fabulous time. Now we're gung-ho on finishing the nursery (we finished putting all the furniture together yesterday!) and will patiently wait for BabyP to get here.
I honestly don't know the name of the person who made the cake. Someone MIL works with during the school year makes them as a side job. Obviously she's very good. She's in Hudson, I think (if not then somewhere close to Hudson). If you want her info I'm sure I could get it. From what I understand her prices are very reasonable.
so glad you had a great itme!]
that cake is off the hook!
