Our tech team has launched updates to The Nest today. As a result of these updates, members of the Nest Community will need to change their password in order to continue participating in the community. In addition, The Nest community member's avatars will be replaced with generic default avatars. If you wish to revert to your original avatar, you will need to re-upload it via The Nest.

Where can I take my laptop for service
It's no longer under warranty, of course. Lately it either freezes in sleep mode so you have to take the battery out and start it up again or it the color starts to fade to the point that the only thing left is a white screen and then it all comes back. Doesn't want to go to Best Buy (bad experience) does anywhere look at them. And any idea on the charge. TIA

I would ask around and see if anyone you know has a computer person they use or can recommend. DH does computer work on the side and a lot of his business comes from referrals. He charges a lot less that someplace like Best Buy would.
If you can't find anyone see if you can get reviews on any a local place.
