I just did a quick walk around the neighborhood yesterday to break in my new NB running shoes and cramped about 1/3 of the way through the walk! I don't really think these shoes fit me right and have heard over on the Health and Fitness board to check out running shoe stores to get properly fitted. Does anyone know of any stores like this in the area? There are none that I know of over here on the coast (Daytona). Thanks!

Re: Running shoe stores?
Def the Track Shack on Mills just past 50. They will fit you and watch you run and walk in the shoes.
Ditto this place. I may go on Saturday - I need new shoes.
Thanks for the recs. I always make a list of other things I need to do in Orlando when we plan a trip over. Most always includes a trip to Ikea. I'll ask my local running club if they know of any area stores with that service as well.
What do you think nice shoes will cost me? (newbie runner with a few 5ks under my belt). I was thinking no more than $125? Am I way off base? My most recent favorite NB shoes were about $75 a year or 2 ago.
You should definitely be able to get something good for under $125. My husband and I got ours at Track Shack earlier this year and they were both about $100 (same price as they would have been online BTW). I think they do have some less than 100, but I was more concerned with fit than price. (And I think they can help you find some in your budget if you wanted to spend less than $100).
