Any suggestions on places to stay in Vancouver?
Hubby & I are actually going to leave a day earlier than planned and stay for a night in Vancouver before heading up to Whistler. =D

Hmmm, do you have a budget in mind? The first spot that comes to mind in the brand new Shangri-La! It's not cheap though but looks gorgeous and the views would be amazing. Others I would recommend would be the Pan Pacific, Marriott Pinnacle (located right near Stanley Park) and there are a few more than I'll need to think of... the Opus Hotel in Yaletown is supposed to be really nice too

Depending where you want to stay and budget, Granville Island Hotel which is quite nice and right on Granville Island. For right in the heart of downtown on trendy Robson St, there is the Blue Horizon or the Empire Landmark with the Cloud 9 revolving restaurant on the 42nd floor. It looks like the have some great rates between October and January.
