Favorite TV Chef

Last night I made dinner from a recipe I got from a Rachel Ray episode, and it came out horrible.  It's the third one from her I've tried that was really bad.  I love Food Network and since I'm a baker and not a cook, I need recipes to make dinner.

So, who have you had good luck with?

Re: Favorite TV Chef

  • GORDON RAMSEY is my favorite. But I've never tried his recipes.

Do your recipes have to be from a TV chef? Cause I take a lot of recipes off of sparkpeople.com and allrecipes.com myself. I take the ones that are rated well =)

  • I've actually had a lot of luck with Rachael Ray recipes. I don't just get her recipes off her show though, I have her books and magazines too.

I like some of Paula Deen's recipes too, although, they are usually pretty fattening.

  • Martha Stewart....I get her magazine and have always had good luck with any recipes of hers that I have tried :)

But...... my favorite TV chef is one that I have never tried a recipe from - Curtis Stone frm TLCs "Take Home Chef".  Love the aussie accent and he's kinda cute too!  Someday he's going to run into me in the grocery store and make MY family dinner, or at least I hope so!!!!!
