For the first time ever, I am annoyed with my MIL. She keeps telling me how ridiculous it is that daycare will cost us $2,850 a month, but when MH asked her if she wants to watch the babies 2 days a week (she plans to retire when they get here) to lower the cost, she says, "No. I don't want another job." That's fine, and I totally understand (although saying it like that is a bit harsh). There isn't much we can do about the price of daycare and unless you want to help, then STFU.

I'm extremely jealous of my unemployed H.
My MIL says "our baby" in reference to my little belly bean. I just ignore it because I need to choose my battles with her but it irks me sooo bad. I want to tell her unless you were there when it was conceived, you are not a part the "our".
I didn't know. I hope everything is ok.
It's new this week. It will be fine in the long run, but challenging for now....It's hard to have him home when I work from home and have my own routine, etc.

I'm always jealous of unemployed people (if they're able to pay their bills, that is.) My MOH had over a YEAR off before she found a job, and her husband was making enough for them to live on comfortably. She had no urgency or pressure. I was completely green with envy.
Sometimes I wish I could just take a year off. My confession is that I have considered orchestrating something where I could get hurt enough to qualify for CA disability and my private disability policy, so that I could actually take a year of PAID disability leave. You know, getting hit by a car or something.

If I were you I'd try to work the "stress leave" angle instead. A few folks in my office have done that successfully.

oh, this reminds me of my confession - I *think* I might have to break down and buy some fuggs. but I'd only wear them around the house and to the grocery store, I promise.
This happens at my office too...I wish I could do that.
My clothes don't fit, and I'm only two months along. I haven't actually gained any weight, it's just bloat and huge boobs. I'm going to be looking round and jolly in no time.
My class asked me what I'm going to be for Halloween, and I said " A fat teacher". They then looked at me with a
face. I just kept eating.
I accidentally used too much mayo in my lunch today, but ate it anyway because 1. I hate wasting food and 2. I was too lazy to start all over. Now I feel gross and my stomach hurts.
Ssinca, I still wear my uggs around the house. I wore them years before they were popular (way back in the day in college) and while I would never wear them in public, they're still one of the most comfortable things to slip on my feet for around the house.
I just ate an amazing lunch at Hibatchi Steak house. Salad, Teriaki Steak, Fried Rice, Mushrooms, Scallops and Veggies. Did I mention it was a HUGE plate full?
Ya that was 1 hour ago and I am hungry again. I am such a fatazz.
This sounds amazing. Where did you go? I have been meaning to try the place at the top of Fairmont in the Trader Joe's center...

It's actually called Hibatchi Steak House and it's right around the corner from your house. Santa Ana Canyon Road/ S. Fairmont. You would LOVE it. Its not the one in TJ shopping center. DONT go to that one. Thats the owners brother and they add WAAAAAAAY too much butter and grease on everything.
