Any ideas for a wedding dates ornament? I heard of someone using the petals off the bouquet and putting them into a ornament.
Re: wedding ornament
My mom gave us a beautiful one from Lenox, and I ordered one from personalizationmall.com for my BIL when he was married this year (cute and i think it was around 15 bucks)
We were given a ton last year from our family and friends. My mom found one at Things Remembered. My MIL and friends found them at an ornament kiosk that comes in the mall during the season and hallmark.
I just lurk here, but my town has a "paint your own pottery" place where they have all types of pottery and ceramics (from plates and mugs to dog bowls and Christmas ornaments). Some of our friends went together and picked a few colors and made us matching ornaments with our names and important dates, etc.
It was so cute, if you want the ornament to be very personalized its such a cute idea!
We got ours last year from a kisok in the mall. They had all sorts of cute and fun ornaments and they would personalize them for you. They were really fun - not traditional or formal so I am not sure what your "theme" is.
We got married last year. For a little surprise for my H, I made 2 ornaments for him for Christmas. I used glass balls & filled one w/ sand from the beach we went to on our first married thanksgiving (& have gone several times too) & used gold ribbon to make the loop. The second one I wrote our monogram on it in as close to the font we used for our wedding as possible & add the Granny Smith apple green color ribbon we used for our wedding as the loop. They were easy & fun to make!
We did receive 2 ornaments from family - Hallmark & Disney.
Have fun w/ your project!
