side dish dinner fail

So, I bought some cauliflower the other day becuase I have been wanting to try the mock "mashed potatoes" version with it.  Well, I made it last night for dinner with a store bought roasted chicken.  I used a recipe from the food network....and it was TERRIBLE!  Neither of us liked it at all.  Tastes JUST like cauliflower (which isn't my favorite to begin with) and it just wasn't very good.

    good to know...I've been wanting to try this but been too afraid DH would not like it.

    I guess that makes sense... I've been thinking of making it too, but guess I never really thought it through.  NOTHING can compare to the whipped yumminess caused when you mash starchy potatoey goodness with butter and milk/cream. Wink
