Last night was a nailbiter, but go Angels! Back to New York now, how do you think they'll do? I hoping they take the momentum back to the Bronx. I'll keep sending win dust!
BTW, as an Angels fan, what do you think of Abreu? Personally, I HATED him when he was on the Phils. I always thought he was overpaid and a lazy fielder. He wasn't consistent offensively and overall was a waste. Just wanted to get your perspective.
GOOD LUCK TOMORROW!
Re: PITAAA!!
Hey ND! The game was amazing! To blow the lead and take it back w/out blinking, that's how the boys can play! They've got a lot of grit this year. We can beat the Yanks, we always have, they just have to play "their" game, which they did last night. My only concern is the weather, I think it contributed to our loss's in games 1 and 2.
We LOVE Abreu, hands down. He has made a very big difference in our team in a very good way. He's tought the boys plate discipline, they're no longer hacking at everything, they're working the count. He's gotten key hits when we needed them. He's a free agent next year and we want him back, no question. I don't think he's a lazy fielder at all though his fielding is probably average. He's said he loves being an Angel, loves being in Anaheim. Perhaps thats made a difference in his attitude and performance.
Thanks for the win dust!!! I'm glad you'll keep sending it, its helping!!!
