10/23 question
What are your weekend plans?
We're going to Denver Downs Farm with my preschool today and going through the pumpkin patch and corn maze. DH will be watching his gator game tomorrow, and church on Sunday.

Tonight DH and I are supposed to hang out with some friends but he may have to work. So not sure really.
Tomorrow DH and I are going to Charlotte with a bunch of our friends for the Gravedigger's Ball. I am so excited. Backstreet Boys are headlining and the 13 year old girl in me is screaming. haha
Sunday we will probably just relax at home and recoup from a busy weekend.
We have a busy weekend. Tonight and tomorrow we are decorating for Halloween, and also we need to rake up the hay in our yard and put down more grass seed. We put grass seed down a couple weeks ago, then we had heavy rain every single day and even with the hay, the rain was too much and our grass didn't sprout.
Also Saturday I have to get cookies ready for a bake sale. I made them all yesterday and got the chocolate drizzle over about 1/3 of them, but I need to add the chocolate to the other couple dozen, and then get them bagged up.
Saturday night is church.
Sunday is Trunk or Treat at our church. The various small groups set up little booths in the church parking lot, and all the kids in the community are invited to come dressed up and "trick or treat". Each booth has a different theme.
Last year one had the fire department safety house, one had a speed boat, some do fishing themes, wilderness themese, and some biblical themes.
We're doing Sharach, Meshach, and Abednego and throwing kids into a firey furnace. Only at church can you get away with that! So anyway setup and the actual event will be most of Sunday.
yesterday was DH's 28th bday so we're mostly celebrating w/ family. we're driving up to NC this afternoon. i get to see my toddler nephew/godson who i haven't seen in 2 months. i'm sooo excited!!!
saturday if the rain holds out we are going to the lexington barbeque festival. also we might go to a pumpkin patch with my nephew.
sunday we are stopping in charlotte to see DH's fam.

I'm soooo boring:
Tonight=Nothing
Saturday=Usual Sat chores while DH is at work
Sunday=Church and nothing.
Okay well not really "nothing" I DO have a 7 month old to take care of and play with.
Oh and of course Praying the Yankees win this weekend! If they do, they'll go to the World Series!
tonight- not very exciting. Costco and Target run, dinner together, and planning how we are going to landscape our house
tomorrow- sleeping in, long run, going to a used book sale, football, hanging out with friends that night
Sunday- trying one more new church in Greenville so hopefully we can decide on the one we want to join, nothing going on in the afternoon

Which Churches have you tried, if you don't mind me asking.
Tonight: Some friends are having a gumbo party so we're going to that.
Tomorrow: I have class first thing in the morning then we've got our little dance barn that night.
Sunday: No clue...
I don't mind at all! We're looking for an Episcopal church. We've been to Christ Church, Church of the Holy Cross (Simpsonville), St. Peter's, and Church of the Redeemer. We're going to St. James on Sunday. We want to go to them all and get a feel for what each of them is like. I hope we can make a decision soon! We loved our church in Clemson (Holy Trinity) and I miss having a familiar church to go to every Sunday.

tonight: Going to Church for a bit and then maybe to Boone Hall Plantation for Fright Night (but thats still up in the air)
Tomorrow: DH is going to play paint ball, so I get to have some me time
and I'll probably get some stuff together that I need to mail and do some things around the house. No clue what we'll do tomorrow night.
Sunday: Church and randomness then Sunday Night we always get together with some friends.
sctiger-let me know what you think of St James. I grew up in the Episcopal church and have visited Holy Cross, but haven't made it to the others in the area yet. I'm like you in that I want to get a feel for the way each church and congregation "gel" with the service I'm used to. Its nice to have something to compare to. :-)

Friday-not much-just hanging out the remainder of the nite
Saturday-yard work (as long as it doesn't rain) and catching up on cleaning up around the house.
Sunday-relaxing, getting ready for the week and doing some decorating for Halloween!!

We went to the haunted jail house tour last night with 2 new friends and then to Fleet Landing for dinner. I had a horrid stomachache and didn't enjoy myself that much
Tonight I think we are going to a bar with some other friends for a little while.
My neighbor &I went downtown for the Saturday Market 1st thing this morning-haven't been all year and wanted to be sure to go before it stopped for the season. Had a wonderful time!!
We've already planed to go for the final weekend next weekend to see what they do for the halloween celebration. Not sure what the rest of the day holds, probably a little housework and possibly going out to dinner tonite.
Tomorrow will be a catch up/relax day :-)
