Hello all!
My Fi and I recently went to a Cheese and Wine tasting and have decided to host one at our house. The problem: our house is the size of a shoe box. Well not really but it's laid out way too goofy.
Any suggestions on how to host semi-large (20 people) parties in a small space?
Re: Cheese and Wine party?
We have a 3 bedroom bungalow, so we have two rooms (approx 10 x 10) downstairs (which are the bedroom and office) and then the upstairs is 10 x 20-ish and that is my sister's room. Then the kitchen is 9 x 7 and the living room is 14 x 15 (maybe a little more). We are planning on having it the last weekend of Nov so outside would not be good (we live in Michigan) and our basement is very dark and damp, however, if someone has any good decorating/lighting options it could work out well.
I like having the idea of wines/foods in different rooms. I'm not opposed to rearranging things (read: stuffing everything into one room) for a night.
