Question re Disneyland SoCal Resident tix

I can get discounted D-land tix through my work, and since I haven't been in years, I'm considering going with my parents this week while they're in town.  If I buy the tix using the SoCal Resident Offer, does it matter if 2 of the people I'm getting tix for don't live in SoCal??  I'm so confused because the website doesn't specify.  All it says is this:

? Admission is valid for one day to both Disneyland? Park and Disney?s California Adventure? Park.

? Each day of use of a Disneyland? Resort Park Hopper? ticket constitutes one full day of use.

? The visit must occur on or before December 17, 2009.

? Limit 8 tickets (Ages 10+ & Ages 3-9) per order per day. Household can only order once per day and twice per rolling 7 days.

Re: Question re Disneyland SoCal Resident tix

  • I think as long as the person buying them is a resident they wont check everyone else's id. When they do the promotion in the winter/spring where you can buy one park and get the other park free on another day, we had some out of state family visiting...I bought the tickets for them and they had no issues getting in.
  • Putting on my former DL tour guide hat:

Technically, you are supposed to be a resident to use these tickets or be accompanying a resident into the park. Normally they do not check, but have been known to at times in the past. Since you will be with your parents, there shouldn't be a problem.

Disclaimer: it has been 4 years since I worked there, so things could have changed
