Just got back from an amaaaaaazing dinner there tonight. I've never even heard of this place but a friend got me a gift card a while back and we finally used it tonight. It's a little restaurant in Cambridge, nice but not too stuffy, seats maybe 40ish people. Their specialty is a duck for two that you need to call ahead and reserve if you want to make sure you get it; the table seated next to us tried to order it but DH and I got the last one :P
Everything was absolutely delicious. For appetizers DH got a king crab wrapped in avocado and I got an egg thing with corn, chorizo, and chanterelle mushrooms--both soooo good. Then came the duck, which they brought out whole and then carved for us. It was freaking delicious and we only managed to eat half of it so we have a whole other serving each leftover. For dessert, the chocolate parfait was heaven (I also got the cheesecake, but that was just OK).
Sorry for the novel, but I get really excited and happy after I have a great meal
Seriously, you guys have to try it. Oh, and the guy at the table next to us turned out to be the owner of Carmen in the North End and he was really nice, so I guess we'll be headed over there sometime soon!

Re: Salts Restaurant - go!
I have been meaning to try Salts for some time. I have heard it's great. I LOVE duck. Salts and Craige on Main are going to be the next new restaurants on my list.
FWIW, I went to Craigie when it was actually still on Craigie and I have to say I was a little bit disappointed. It just didn't live up to the hype for me. I'd go back to Blue Ginger for their tasting menu over Craigie's any day.
