I do most of the planning in our relationship.  My favorite question to him is what you do you want for dinner, and the standard answer is....I don't care, something easy.

I pretty much plan everything.  DH will have an idea for something that is going on, but I do the planning to make it happen.  So, for example, he knew he wanted to go to home depot to get some stuff for his friend who just bought a house but I actually picked all the stuff and wrapped it.  And of course I plan what food to bring where, what gifts to buy people, when to send cards, etc.  It's ok with me though - I like it for the most part.

I do all the planing for everything. I am always responsible for the bills, engagements, cards, gifts. the only thing dh plans is dinner he takes out of the freezer one of the choices I planned for the week.

He does most of the planning without realizing it.  I will ask him what he wants to do and he'll say he doesn't care so then when I make suggestions he shoots them down.  Then after I make all the suggestions, he'll decide what he wants to do!!!  Grrrrrrrr

I plan everything and DH is thankful for it.  He tried to plan a birthday party for me a couple years ago and he is such a procrastinator he gave up and let me take over.   He is more a "spur of the moment" type guy than a planner.
