Nona5k?

Is anyone planning on running the Nona5k on Nov 7th? Did anyone run last year? I think this is only the 2nd annual. I'm just wondering how it was last year. I read over the website, sounds like a good/organized race. I ran my first 5k today, so now im ready for more! The one today was the Community in Pink by Health Central at Winter Garden Village. It was good...The Nona5k is a pretty good drive for me so i'm debating whether or not I should do it?!

Re: Nona5k?

  • Congrats on running your first 5k! I didn't run that one last year, but I will highly recommend you participate in the reindeer run in December! We really enjoyed it the year we ran it!
  • What website did you find the info on? I wanted to run it but didn't hear anything about it. I go to the Y there often.

  • Congrats on your 5K! I just started running about a year ago, and I love how signing up for a race now and then really gets me motivated.

I'm not sure if I'm going to do the Lake Nona one or not. It sounds kinda cool, since you get to run around the new medical school, but I'm not sure if I'm going to have the time.

I'm definitely signed up for the OUC 5K on Dec. 5, and I might do the Turkey Trot at Lake Eola too.

GL! If you end up doing that one let us know how it goes.  :-)
