He said it about a week ago, but we weren't sure if he "meant" to or not, although it did come out when he was crying for me. So, we decided not to count it as his first word until he repeated it. Tonight, he was whining a little bit for me (cranky, because I think another tooth is on its way!), sitting on Larry's lap and he outstretched his arms for me to pick him up and clear as day said,"Mama!" I was so happy that I got tears in my eyes. He has the sweetest little voice and I am so glad that DH and my IL's were all there to witness it. I kept working on him to say it more, but could only get a "Ma" here or there. : )
We are having a lot of fun out here. We went to Greenfield Village & The Henry Ford museum today. Ben saw a horse for the first time today and thought it was the funniest thing ever. Tomorrow is our 2nd wedding anniversary, so the IL's are gonna watch him while we go out. Later on in the week, we are taking him to the Detroit Zoo.
How is everyone doing?? Hope you are all well. Gonna try and catch up on a few posts before bed. Take care!
