How are you decorating for the holidays?

I love to hear ideas for Christmas and holiday decorating.  This year is our first Christmas in our house and we are already thinking about how we are going to hang our lights.  We want to do a tasteful yet fun lighting in the front and something in the back.  We are also going to be setting up our fake tree in the living room (so excited about that since we didn't do any decorating last year because of our move).  We LOVE Christmas decorations and can't wait to get started

I dont even know. All our Christmas decorations are passed down ones that I really want to get rid of. I want to have a color them, like blue and silver but who knows. Our decorting wont start till we move in to the new place. But one thing we do know is that we will not have a fake tree, we love the smell of the real ones. I cant wait either but first lets have some turkey!!!

We have a LOT of decorations!  Usually we put reindeer in our front yard, but last year we bought one of those big musical blow-ups for the front yard--oh wait, I think we bought two!  Can't wait!  Just have to remember where we packed it in the garage...

Inside, I don't have much of a theme, just a lot of stuff

we are a bunch of bah humbuggers this year. We are not decorating and instead we are fleeing the country and going on a cruise with family to Mexico. i heard they decorate the ship so at least i won't be without me tree.

Normally we go all out for Christmas but sadly not this year
