New to the Board: Looking for Suggestion
My finance & I are getting married in May 2010 in Wolcott, CT and we're looking for a JP or other officiant, we don't want to have a religious ceremony. I've found a couple and their prices I think are outrageous. I'm looking for suggestions/reviews on JP's/Officiants. Thank you all.

We used Father Rich Hasselbach in Carmel NY. He can tailor your ceremony exactly the way you want it. If you don't want it overly religious he can do that for you and most of all he is really really nice and sweet. www.fatherrich.com HTH!
we used Cami Rosenberg-Dews out of Bristol, but she'll travel state-wide. she cost about $195, including travel costs (ceremony was about an hour from bristol) and that also included a $50 donation to an animal charity.
we LOVED her. she doesn't do religious ceremonies at all, and we picked everything that was done at our ceremony (she gave us tons and tons of examples so we didnt have to write anything if we didnt want to). she also worked in a champagne toast during our ceremony...she's super creative with things like that, i cannot rave enough about her!!
