need prayers...

Tully is back at the vet this evening.  Last night he threw up 3 times...I thought that it was just from eating...they both scarfed down their dinner since it had been a couple of days since they had really eaten.  He has always had the more tempermental tummy, so I just figured it was from that.  Well this afternoon, he threw up again and he had not even really eaten anything throughout the day.  The vomit was brownish/red...not good.  I called the vet and he said to bring him in right away.  He is keeping him tonight to give him more IV fluids.  I should know how he is doing sometime after 10 am tomorrow.  So for right now...I will take any extra prayers you have give.  He is my baby...I am so sad right now.

You have all the prayers I can give you! I know this must be really difficult, especially with your DH away.  You know you can always come here for shoulders to cry on, if you need to.  I really hope things look better in the morning.

I'm sorry!  I just caught up on your previous posts about all you are going through.  I sure hope Tully is ok!!!

I'm just getting caught up, too, on your other posts.  Praying for Tully that he is ok!  That is so scary.  Our pets are such an important part of our families.  They really are our babies.  Keep us posted!

Heard from the vet a couple of hours ago.  Tully is going to stay another night.  He has not vomited since being there and the vet gave him chicken last night and today and he ate.  So far so good.

Have they run any more bloodwork to check his liver and organs?

I know how scary it is, the not knowing and not being able to do anything. We had a scare last year with our beagle. 

It sounds good that the vet has fed him and he's kept it down.

Susanne I'll definitely be thinking of you and Tully.  I hope he keeps progressing well and is able to come home back soon!
