Congrats to the Yanks though - they've had an amazing season. But, I'm a Phillies fan [well, BoSox first, then Phillies], so I'll be cheering for them.
Should be an awesome series! However, I'm worried about the fact that they're so freaking close...hoping the weather stays OK so that there aren't a lot of postponed games!
I agree. The weather is SO unpredictable this time of year - especially in the NE - and it makes me nervous just how much the weather's going to affect the Turnpike Tussle [that's just one of the things I've heard the World Series called so far]. With both teams being so close together, if the weather sucks up there, it's not like they can escape to another place and play.
I'm looking forward to the World Series though. It should be a good one!

Sooo happy for the Yankees. This will be an excellent World Series.
Next Sunday should be very interesting. The Phils will be hosting the Yankees and the Eagles will host the Giants. Philadelphia will be electric to say the least.
