Hello all. We were married a month ago and are starting to establish our little family. Im looking to start holiday traditions and need ideas! We have mexican food on Christmas Eve and buy an ornament for each other every year. Its our first holiday season married and in our new house. Thanks for any and all ideas!

This was posted last week I think. Hope it helps
besides food...I love the tradition of stockings, my husband never did this growing up but it was always my favourite thing. Ever year growing up,christmas morning we would go get our filled stockings and run to my parents room, hop on their bed and dump them out. It was always a really nice family thing...the stocking gifts we're just little (candy, underwear, chapstick...) but it was really nice. We're going to do the stockings this year, just me and my husband and I can't wait:)
We did stockings too and we loved them. My mom always loved stocking stuff and went way overboard, but it was my favorite part of Christmas.
We always do Chinese on xmas eve and buy a new ornament every year. I have them labeled from my first Christmas.
Whenever there are kids (which there aren't anymore) we would do the Christmas pickle. We also take turns opening presents.
We also do stockings and the bottom is always an orange. I learned as an adult that mom would do that so it would weigh down the stocking and keep its shape.
